I didn't get to include this in my last post but I am really, really loving Parks and Recreation and unlike Glee its not a love-hate relationship. I really, really love it most of all because of Leslie Knope.

I can't believe how much I've come to love her especially when I first thought she started out as another Michael Scott except she isn't. I love that she's fantastic and awesome at her job and she isn't the butt of the jokes (I'm looking at you, 30 Rock!).

And, really, Amy Poehler gets all the awards for being awesome in RL and championing women everywhere and takes no BS from anyone!

LJ's been subject to several DDOS attacks over the past week.

I've wanted to watch Parks and Recreation for ages! I hope it comes out on DVD soon, if it isn't already.

As for LJ, they've been dealing with DDoS attacks for a few days. It's annoying, but I'm less irritated than usual because at least the slowness isn't their fault this time. :P You can look at the LJ status page to see what's going on.

You should try it out! It's really good! Although it took a few episodes to find its feet and tone, when it does it's really fantastic!

If anything, because of the DDoS attacks, you'll probably start seeing activity from folks here more. I've just reupped my paid account here and will probably let my LJ paid account lapse in July.
