Unbelievable. Fernando Poe is actually planning his inauguration! Despite the evidences to the contrary he still insists that he won the election. Or actually, his cohorts are insisting.
The opposition's thoughtless pursuit of their definition of democracy is sickening, it's clear they would stop at nothing just to have their way. They don't even give a damn if this volatile situation could spiral into a civil war and effectively spell economic doom for the Philippines.
I hate the cavalier way their treating this situation, they still think their acting in the movies. This is my country, dammit! It may not be perfect but it does not deserve this... this... travesty.
What, is it because the President is a woman? Is that the reason why they can't accept her winning? That FPJ, this great machismo figure of the Philippine Cinema, was defeated not by another man with a swagger but a diminutive woman with only her intellect as a weapon?
