when cold....

Well.. see, I haven't updated in a loooong time. I was actually supposed to be on a retreat in Batulao, Batangas. Supposed to be a very, very beautiful retreat house. *sigh*. Anyway... just thought to make a snippet of my Sailormoon fanfic, and since this is just a snippet, I'll begin in media res:

Mare Serenitas -- Seat of the Moon Kingdom's power, it was a flourishing capital. Merchants of all kinds, traders and citizens awoke to the new day and at the center of the activity was the Moon Palace.
It was a large, rambling palace built of indeterminate minerals. For all its splendour and glory, it stood aloof and alone in the inky, darkness of space. The palace bespoke of a grand civilization, and now restored, in an effort to relive the splendour it once held.
The streets around the palace are clean, no sign of wear and tear, only the clean, spic, span of many washings.
Mr. Rogers, theowner of an antique bookshop nestled in between alleyswakes from his sleep at precisely 5:00 am. He is old, his bones are old, he contemplates for a moment of staying in bed, he quickly dismisses the thought. Rogers is a creature of habit, he stands, washes, cloths at th proper time and at precisely 7:15 am the shop was open. Right on cue Rogers heard the quiet hum of the High Guard's patrol vehicle. The High Guards, too, are creatures of habit.
Rogers watched their vehicle in silence, always for the last five decades of his life, they would come at the same hour, down to the last minute. An hour ater the High Guards the Police patrol will arrive. Rogers thought of all the people who thought the High Guard were overglorified policemen. He never saw them again.
The High Guard Patrol passed he turned back and sat on his chair for business to arrive.

Ah, well... this is really at the second chapter, more coming:)

So, that's all for now:)
