Also, vibrant colors in a DC movie! Amazing. Down with the blue color grading!
The origin story was fun, even if it’s a bit slow at the start I loved baby!Diana! Honestly, a lot of this reminds me of Captain America: The First Avenger, in a good way! Not in a derivative way!
It can only mean awesome things!
The action was amazing, Hippolyta was amazing, all the Amazons were amazing!
The ragtag band of misfits is awesome, I love them! And I want more stories with Diana and Etta on their missions. (But gah, Diana outliving all of her friends and she’s unable to come home!).

Also, by the time David Thewlis offered to help Diana and Steve I suspected he was Ares. Then I remembered Ares was injured and then, of course, he is David Thewlis! It’s like the guest star with the big name is always the criminal thing in procedurals!
On the other hand, I wish I felt Chris Pine more as Steve Trevor. Still, what is it about Steves (and Chris-es named Steve and airplanes).
And, though I love the fight scenes, there were moments that felt overly CGI-ed.
Aside from that, this movie was fun and a great origin story for Diana! Finally.
Bravo to everyone involved for making Wonder Woman happen!

Also, I’m sorry but nothing in this movie has dissuaded me from my crossover otp! This movie just convinced me even more that Diana/Steve Rogers should be a thing.

*My opinion about Chris Pine as Steve Trevor has changed significantly. I think I just needed to sit down and rewatch the movie, which I have several times now!

That is a point I really should have gotten earlier. Really only got it when when it became clear the supposed German played by the American actor was just being influenced by mythological forces and a puppet.

Same with me! I really truly loved this movie and I'm such a fan of Diana/Wonder Woman now!
Gosh I wish we got more of Diana and Etta's post-war adventures! I feel like Diana would be involved in whatever Etta and the boys are up to!
Hee. I mentioned to @monanotlisa, its also weird how I caught it. Also, my initial kneejerk reaction is to dislike the third act but y'know, I've come around to really liking it, especially Ares's initial revelation!
