I am enamored with my icon, I stare at it all day loving its black and white elegance, and the sudden green that adds more than it jars.
I would love to sing praises and revel, it's just so pretty. Pardon to whoever created the green hat xander, and thanks so much. It's love I tell you.
melymbrosia wrote a sort of remembrance to all the good things Buffy is here. Recalling all the episdoes she mentioned brings a feeling of nostalgia to me, Buffy was so much to me this past 7 years and it has given me a lot. Episodes I hardly would credit to television I learned existed. I learned that there are consequences to choices and it's always hard.
No matter how many times I say that I will stop watching, something always bring me back, the acting, the writing, the arcs or occasionally all of the above. It's hard knowing that Buffy will end this Monday, that it won't go on til next year.
I'm occasionally hard press to explain what I see in the show, with its campy name. And I tell them it's more than it's name, it's the beauty of the episodes, the writing but still they look at me, puzzled and I say, go watch, then you'll understand.
The show is luminous, wonderful, quirky and it never goes where you quite want it to go. Saludo ako sayo, Buffy. Ave, Joss.
But of course, there is still Angel, which reminds me read
kita0610's My Angel. It's brilliant, this is Angel. I am constantly fascinated how fanauthors can get inside a character's head and bring them to life.
Hates the word Champion.
Believes Buffy is one anyway.
Dreams of just one night with a family who loves him, and no monsters at his door.
Does not believe he deserves it.
Ow. It's so sad and lovely. How does she do it?
