Of course there's a man on the moon, don't you see his outline down yonder? There he is drinking milk and making cheese--
of course the moon is made out of cheese, you think it's just rocks and gray dust? How silly of you little boy.

How utterly practical, when you can be piratical. Think not with your mind or with your books think of swashbuckling swordsmen and hidden treasures.

Of course that's the man on the moon, waving at you, sailing across his milky sea. And there he goes, disappearing into the clouds, wave good bye little boy, it's time for you to sleep.

At the Mirrormask (I can't type a backwards 'R' on my keyboard) and Afternoon Chat panels, Dave mentioned he was looking for 3-D animators. So first: where can someone write to Dave with their interest in working on Mirrormask? And second, where can someone write to Dave just to tell him how great he is?

I can't find Dave to ask him... so instead I phoned Kevin Kelly at Hensons and he's made an e-mail account. If you're an animator or a computer artist or 3D modeller and you want to work with Dave McKean on MirrorMask from pretty much now until next April, and you're prepared to live in the UK, and work enthusiastically on something amazingly cool for not very much money at all, probably, then send an e-mail to mirrormask@henson.com and give resume details and contact info. (Kevin's just created the e-mail account, so it may not be up yet. If it bounces, just wait a few hours and re-send.) Someone will be in touch.


Wouldn't it be cool if I were to work with the production crew? Too bad I'm not an animator or any of those written above, it would've been great if I were. I'd jump at the first opportunity to work on that production.
