Leaving on a jet plane
Nov. 27th, 2004 08:49 amIn a few hours
simplyliving will be leaving the Philippines for the US.
We've all thought of moving away, some for a few years, some forever. Bel was one who has dreamt of leaving the Philippines and testing her mettle in a foreign country and everyone in our group believes she'll succeed.
Two weeks ago, she received a phone call from her sister and announced that Bel had a job offer in the states and she had to leave ASAP. Bel hesitated for only a minute and agreed.
To say we were all surprised was an understatement.
We knew that she would be leaving next year, but two weeks? Talk about fast!
She quit her job in a very prestigious ad agency, her officemates and bosses were equally surprised. But then, she was always decisive.
Everyone who's ever known her would have some funny stories to tell about her. Like what your strat said, bel: 'don't terrorize your bosses!' XDDDD
We'll miss you, bel!
I know you'll succeed!
Good luck and ingat!
