Apparently there was an explosion in Glorietta, one of the popular malls in Makati. The police are still trying to determine the origin of the blast. According to text messages, the area around Glorietta has been cordoned off.

This feels so surreal, one minute we were having lunch, the next we're all biting our nails about this news. I was just in Glorietta a week ago.
