Feb. 19th, 2008 09:46 pmI watched Tear Asunder again via Star World and I went completely bzuh, apparently the version Star World is airing is the one where all the songs were changed completely. I've always loved Life's music selection but only now understand how much the music adds to the episodes. It was like watching a completely different scene instead of Shivaree's John 3:14 we now have a completely different song that doesn't do anything for the scene. In fact it managed to make Reese's awesome stun baton moment boring!
Is this how NBC is packaging it to other countries because this is awful. Music, cinematography, writing and fabulous characters are all that make Life standout as more than a procedural and to have one of the elements missing is like having a limb torn off.
On a happier note, stumbled on to short Life clip made last year featuring Damian Lewis and Sarah Shahi during the TV Guide photoshoot. The link is here.
