TLDR: I still like Segun Akinola’s original score for this scene but I can’t deny the build-up to “I’m the Doctor” is a little more electric.
It really felt like Murray was driving me emotionally, I can feel my heart quicken slightly when the choir kicked in, and Thirteen’s “Now, please, get off this planet, while you still have a choice” went from sounding like Thirteen was warning Tim Shaw to Thirteen sounding a bit more dangerous. More spikier.
In the re-score, I don’t know if it’s just me but the way Thirteen said ‘please’ now felt less ‘please don’t make me do this’, to ‘please for your sake don’t do this.”
