Veronica Mars: Be Cool, Soda pop

It's official. I am head over heels in love with Veronica Mars.
Not only do I love the characters, the stories but I just found out about the viral campaign and I could never love them more. The writers are just a big bunch of geeks! I love them! I stumbled onto this post on [Bad username or unknown identity: veronica_mars ]about Steven, a student from Hearst College needing Veronica's help.
They've put-up a Helpmeveronica.com and created a bunch of sockpuppets and a community for Hearst's college.
I'm speculatin like heck but the thing is, it would take me six months to ever watch the first ep of S3-- my country is slow that way. *sighs*

There are a lot more scenes I love, particularly in season one but I'm in the office and I think I wasted enough manhours putting up the whole thing:D
yahtzee63 sorry about the delay on the Aliases ficathon but am still working on it.

Apparently, the first few episodes will deal with the events from the Rapes of Graff -- the sockpuppet journals have been alluding to the serial rape and even once or twice mentioned Veronica (mostly in confusion) and Dean (George Michael!) even has his own LJ -- of course he has!
Also, the sockpuppet journal also alludes that the campus police are as ineffectual and corrupt as Neptune's sheriff department. Joy to Veronica.
The writers are a bunch of geeks because the sockpuppet journals also have their favorite TV shows and stuff referencing Buffy, Prison Break, Alias and Supernatural. I love my show.
And they have a pet policy where dogs are only allowed in the East Dormitory, so Back-up will not be allowed in some places in Hearst College.
Anyway, so far, these are the sockpuppet journals I've identified so far:
hearst_shadow - the conspiracy theorist of the school
deanamatronix - George Michael! *coughs* I mean, Dean, the Hearst tour guide. And of course he has an LJ!
linditagirl - Apparently, Maeby, er, Stacy's friend
pisigmylifeaway - Incoming freshman determined to enter the frat
voltaires_bitch - I think his 'real' name is Tom
scarlettwinch - Incoming sophomore, in love with Dean. This alone makes me love the writers more.
molly_at_hearst
hearst_hottie - apparently her 'real' name is Kaylee Rose and I think she's the big Harry Potter fan
duran_man
spikeiterica - a volleyball buff, only in Hearst for Volleyball and apparently does Krav Maga.
hearst_college - the Hearst College LJ community
Based on this, Veronica's reputation is percieved as a mix bag I think it was
hearst_hottie who said she heard 'good things and a lot of bad things' about Veronica. So, I guess the writers decided to keep Veronica's 'bad' reputation in Hearst but also balancing it out with some good things about her.

Veronica Mars scenes I love:

Logan breaksdown completely. He's been holding out
hope for so long and he just lets go. I love that Veronica
really doesn't know what to do and just holds him awkwardly.
<strike>Madonna consoles Tom Cruise</strike> I just love
how protective Veronica is to Logan. She's seen him breakdown
and now this.

The Kiss. I have never squeed like I have squeed before.
What sells me on this thing was the aftermath, both of
them are gobsmacked and quiet and there is that look
between them as Veronica leaves. Then we realize
that Veronica's silent and we know its something big
because she's not saying anything.

This scene was just FANTASTIC. Like
yhlee said, the sound
design team are fantastic. The song starts here and continues
on to the final scene in this eerie, ambient song and its repeat
of 'run run run' just-- its something to experience.

The dance. I wasn't expecting it not with how they played it
with Veronica hilariously grabbing Logan to prevent him
from saying something scarring to Gia then they hit the dance
floor and we realize that Veronica's unusually silent. Both vocally
and in her voiceover and then she puts her arms around him and
they have this tentative thing and... the whole thing was
something you have to *see*.

The moment we realize that Thumper wasn't just tied to
any latrine. He's actually tied in the condemned stadium,
which falling down around him and I was: 'OH MY GOD'-ing
on the top of my lungs because I didn't realize that the writers
would go there but they did.

"It's been a long, long time since my last confession...' then
the sound of children laughing. *shudders* And, oh, show.

Logan's epic speech had me raising my eyebrows but his
drunk and I forgive him, plus Veronica has this 'what the
hell' confusion that helped sell it for me. But really, its
actually Veronica's hair, dress and posture! I wish I had that
posture! (Yes, I am this shallow.)
But, oh the heartbreak of the end scene-- Logan really is
good at living down expectations....
