Life ate my brain. I can't wait for the upcoming two-parter and what kills me is that it'll take me two days after those episodes air before I see them!
So... to cope I have decided to post the hotness and awesome that are Reese and Crews. Besides the writing and the brilliant character work one of the things I really, really love about Life is that the show does not hesitate to put our leads in kevlar. It's like almost every episode they get to don the vests and bring out the badass guns.

....
Merit Badge.
Reese and Crews's first kevlar outing. This is where Ravich saw Lewis and Shahi and saw how hot they were in kevlar and therefore made a memo to have our stars wear them as much as possible.

....
Let Her Go.
Do you know what's awesome about the fist cap? It's Reese whose ahead of Charlie and not the other way around. Reese does not care they're after 500 lb Samoan. Reese is too awesome to care about that.
It's another reason why I love their partnership is that it feels equal. They both know when to step back and let the other shine. There's no contest between them, even if Charlie constantly annoys Reese, Reese knows that Charlie has good instincts and steps back to let him work but if she sees he's out of line she won't hesitate to call him on it.
This is more significant in the scene where Reese confiscates the knife.
One of the reasons I stopped watching House is that no one seems able to rein House in, even Cuddy who started out awesome can't rein him in. House always finds a way around Cuddy and it makes her look ineffective.
Charlie on the other hand recognizes he's crossed the line and respects that Reese is his superior detective, he might intentionally annoy Reese but when it comes down to it Charlie respects her.

....
The Fallen Woman.
I love these shots, actually I'm in love with this whole scene. But I also love how the SWAT guy defers to Reese. He clearly heard about the incident with the stun baton.
Look how intent Reese and Crews are. They really want to get Roman bad.

....
Oh, man, this scene with the music and the lighting and one of the coolest villain introductions ever... I love Dani and Charlie's determined, fierce expression. And also the way they hold their guns is just... guh. How are they so hot?

....
Still the Fallen Woman and look, they get to wear bullet proof vests again!

....
*flails* Look at the height the difference! She's so wee! But so badass and competent! She's the first to check/hear the dog's barking.

....
The look on their faces, compassion and anger and fierce determination. If Team Reese-Crews had a second round against Roman, it won't be a walk in the park for him.

....
Powerless.
Look! Crews in flack jacket! Looking hot, worried and determined at the same time!

....
asdksljasdf... Guys, do you know how hard it is to not ship Charlie/Dani? It is HARD. Especially in this scene. And the 'isn't it?' and the 'Just don't let me fall.'
How can we NOT ship these two? Seriously? HOW?
On a serious note, I like how their partnership is all about not letting the other person fall. For Charlie, he needs someone to cover his ass and to tell him he's being an ass. He needs someone to snap him out of the prison justice he's developed and Reese needs someone to let her not fall be it drugs or alcohol.

....
Serious Control Issues.
This episode is made of pure AWESOME. Not only is this the episode where Crews confronts Jack Reese and the episode where Reese and Charlie's partnership solidifies but also, this episode has Charlie and Reese in kevlar jackets, glasses and guns! Yes, I'm shallow.
This is a surprise?
Just small thing though... I kinda miss Dani's old aviator glasses. Her new glasses compliment her alright but I still miss her Aviators of AWESOME.

....
And just because this scene is that fantastic, once more with feeling.
Team Reese and Crews pwns you.
Edited to add: So, since I've been stalking my flist about this meme I think it's about time I contributed. Gakked from everyone:
Name a character from one of my fandoms, and I'll give youeither probably all of the following (a) three facts about them from my personal canon/fanon, (b) a reason he/she sucks, (c) a reason he/she is awesomecakes, (d) five things that never happened to that character or (e) five people that character never fell in love with and why.
ETA: Russia, huh? Very, very strange.
