This is entirely gratuitous and senseless but here goes: I am fascinated with Charlie's long legs. I'm also fascinated by the way he enters and exits cars. He's so tall he has to bend to enter a car. And the way he does it is so interesting to watch.

See that? A Civil War is one of the more uneven Life episodes despite that I end up watching certain scenes, particularly the teaser because I love the music *and* I love the way Charlie exits his car. He just bends and his tie does this thing and he's all serious bizness and it adds a lot to his hotness.

What They Saw, look at his long, long legs and the way he takes out the packet from his back and then bends to enter his car.

Let Her Go Okay, this is purely an excuse to post Charlie wearing his kevlar but look at his legs, the way he opens it. It looks kind of awkward at the same time it isn't. He's just so comfortable with his body and so badass!
I could watch Charlie walk across a hall and still be interested. In fact, I won't be bored at all. Guh. Again, I ask, how so hot?

John Mercer is a government assassin, hired straight from prison after killing his aunt and uncle for child abuse.
I've seen this show talked about in some LJs and the curiousity got the better of me. I tracked down the first episode and watched it. Since it's the pilot or the premiere, or whatever it is they call this episode in Britain I'm not yet as drawn in but I am interested.
I like the quiet atmosphere going on in and the cinematography stands out. Mostly, because it feels, well, a lot more cinematic. Mercer sympathizing with Callum felt natural, before this point Mercer really, really disliked him and then Callum helps Mercer set-up his kill (this show has an interesting way with violence by the way, the kills, save for the opening scene were all implied and doesn't really show Mercer actually squeezing the trigger) and then the effect on Callum afterwards was very moving.
I also love the quiet menace the show had going. I believed Mercer when he said he could rip Lenny's (the head of the shadowy unit and Mercer's recruiter) throat before Lenny's guard could do anything.
The supporting cast also interested me, like Mercer, I was also very annoyed with Callum but by the end of the ep I also came to empathize with him. Poor kid, it wasn't at all something he asked doing. They're all of them, I think, even Rose, blackmailed into joining the unit and now they're doing things that they want to do because of Lenny.
I'm definitely interested to find out more about this series.

Eric Cole has a round-up of the news, rumors and links that's circulating about Life in the net. I'm glad he's writing about the show again since he dropped off after Serious Control Issues. In the article, he also mentions
