Despite the promise of the Alt-Verse and the Trio interaction I still haven't seen Fringe's last episode. Recent Events and Revelations has really made me grumpy about the direction and I'm flashing back really badly on Alias season 3.
My amount of grumpiness about Peter and Olivia direction of this show is reaching Alias season levels of disgruntled-ness. The season started out so awesome and well and it could deal with a lot of fantastic things why must the writers shove this pairing down my throat?
I'm very grumpy, show. It's weird to be this grumpy against you.

The Vampire Diaries on the other hand.
OMG. I LOVE (almost) EVERYTHING IT CHOSE TO BE.
Elena keep on being more awesome! KATHERINE, YOU MAGNIFICENT HBIC, WELCOME BACK! I want more interaction between the Petrova women now, do you hear, show?
Also, I was kind of shipping Elena/Elijah there for a while. BUT OMG, SHOW. KATHERINE PIERCE IS BACK.
Lexi! I love the continuity. It was strange to see Stefan and Damon's reversed roles, Stefan got better control of himself and as Lexi cautioned Damon that his life will spiral out until he became what Stefan was. I love that they are finally addressing what Damon did and Stefan finally letting that anger out.
As I saw it, Lexi was willing to help both brothers out but since it did seem like Damon was more together than Stefan, he was the one she helped. Plus, she couldn't really keep him against his will. Well, she could but it seemed against her code to do so.

Comedy is very much my happy place now, Parks and Recreations continues to make me fall hopelessly in love with the show.
Even if it frustrates me a LOT Glee is so very much my happy place too. How did this happen? It's because at the end of the day I'm a sap, that's why and I like music! But the main reason is because I love the cast so, so much. They're just adorable dorks who are, to paraphrase someone in the cast, 'disgustingly' co-dependent.
I love how they spend all their waking hours together even in their off days! I really believe that the biggest reason why this show succeeds is the cast. They are all fanboys and fangirls and most of them even admit to being the Rachel Berry-Artie fusion in their high school days.
(Although, much as I love the cast, the show I think Modern Family was more deserving of that win.)
Also, Santana Lopez is my Queen. She's like the Cordelia Chase of the show!
I'm also happy about Rachel finally getting friends. She is a million annoying things but she's also so lonely that I cheered when the show finally allowed for friendship.
How I Met Your Mother is in a weird place for me right now, I like the story lines it has this season although it doesn't have the zing it did during the first three seasons I like it.
Marshall's story line is hitting me a little too much for comfort. I like it but... still too much for comfort considering my RL situation.

Date: 2011-02-19 05:53 pm (UTC)Everything is really, really good in it, though -- except, um. The last five minutes? Not even that, actually; on a Watsonian level, it plays out quite perfectly.
The Doylist level, where that overarching storyline comes from, though? Drives me as crazy as you, and if I meet the writers in a dark alley, I CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR MY ACTIONS.
But the alt!verse team is love. ♥ Watch 3x13 for them!
Me, I'm wary about 3x14. I will pop it in in a minute, I just...yeah. I know the writers will fuck it up, and while I can take some sexism in my stories, I think the destruction of Olivia Dunham hits me where I live.
