Gakked from [livejournal.com profile] taragel:

Which TV shows did you start watching in 2011?

Shows I watched and stuck with:
Once Upon A Time, Revenge, Pan Am

Watched a few episodes then gave up on:
Ringer

Only watched the pilot episode:
Shameless (but I'm coming back to that), Persons of Interest (but I've been hearing good things so I'm going to start again)

TV shows you liked but had to put on hiatus:
Terriers, Nikita, The Good Wife (I find TGW works better for me when viewed as a marathon).

Which TV shows did you let go of in 2011?
So You Think You Can Dance (for personal reasons), The Vampire Diaries

Which TV shows did you mean to get into but didn't in 2011? Which TV shows do you intend on checking out in 2012?
Pretty Little Liars, Being Human (UK),

Which TV show impressed you most in 2011?
Once Upon A Time. I seriously did not expect to love OUAT as much as I did but I was so surprised at how much the story is driven by women. Same for Pan Am, after The Playboy Club this was so refreshing and just, I love that not every show is about being as dark as possible. Fringe, impressed me by putting as in a new timeline with another version of Olivia(s) and bravely putting it out there that Olivia can fall in love with other people than Peter.

Friday Night Lights. Everything about this show.

Which TV show impressed you least in 2011?
The Vampire Diaries. Despite Queen Katherine, Caroline and Bonnie I had to drop it. I was not impressed with the woobification of Stefan and the way Elena goes on condoning his actions or Damon's.

Which TV show do you think you might let go of in 2012 unless things significantly improve?

None comes to mind, although I keep giving Fringe the side eye whenever Peter's around because if what happened in the second half of season 3 happened again...

Which TV shows do you think you'll never let go of no matter how crappy they get?
*sigh* Unfortunately, this seems to be the way it's going with Glee. Although it's constantly hanging by a sliver of a thread for me my love for its cast keeps making me come back. The moment the cast are finally let go is the moment I walk away from this show.

I want to like Person of Interest but I can't help feeling like it's really some insidious bit of propaganda: "We're invading the hell out of your privacy, but look, good things can happen because of that!"

UOAT is the bomb, indeed. They just fridged a man in service of a character's womanpain, hallelujah!
