on shaw and loyalty

there's really something very interesting about the way shaw gives her loyalty.
and i love how gen (jen?) called out shaw on not feeling anything, because she does, other wise her partner's death wouldn't have meant so much to her, its just that her emotions are dialed down so low it hardly makes a dent in her radar, but she feels. and her source of comfort seem to be food.
jen, michael, reese seemed to be the only people who not only cared but seem to understand that about shaw. (and bear because bear's affections are unconditional).
(i'm also going to include carter here but we don't see them interact enough for me to make it certain.)
when jen grows up, she would be the perfect handler or partner for shaw, because jen understood and was able to figure her out.
finch though he's never really understood her, and seemed to see her through the lenses of his expectations. and that frustrates shaw a lot, it will take time, i think before shaw's loyalty will fully shift to finch.
right now it seems the reason why she's sticking around are because of reese and bear. she only keeps a few people close and once that's taken from her she'll go through hell to either avenge them or get them back.
