I watched TFA a lot earlier than my plans because I grew too afraid of getting spoiled.
Which I partly was in that I was spoiled Leia and Han were separated and by the time Han was in that catwalk with Wannabe Vader I knew Han was a goner.
But! I loved Rey and Finn! And what we got of Poe– I don’t exactly know why Phasma was hyped up I hope she is in the next movie to justify the hype.
Rey HAS to be a Skywalker she’s much too like Anakin NOT to be a Skywalker plus she looks like Anakin’s mom, Padme and Leia!
One thing the movie did was made me miss the Jedi, and not just Luke but the other Jedi knights and it makes me sad that the absence of Jedi means Ahsoka, Kanan, and Ezra are dead and that is sad making.
Plus there really is such a vacuum without the Jedi, I keep expecting a Jedi to leap in and do some thrilling heroics so when Rey finally took the lightsaber from Ren I was so happy!
I loved BB-8 and BB8 acting like an excited puppy! Then we saw Leia and I was like: HERE COMES THE GENERAL! I wish we saw more of her and her life had less heartbreak.
WHICH BEN ORGANA-SOLO YOU ARE A DISAPPOINTMENT AND EVEN ANAKIN SKYWALKER HIMSELF WOULD SLAP YOU SO HARD YOUR HEAD WOULD ROLL OFF. HAVE YOU LEARNED NOTHING BUT THINK YOUR GENOCIDAL GRANDFATHER WAS COOL???
REALLY BEN? OBI-WAN KENOBI IS ROLLING AROUND IN THE FORCE ANNOYED AT YOU. YOU DON’T KNOW IT BUT HE’S PROJECTING ALL HIS ANNOYANCE AT YOU RIGHT NOW.
I couldn’t understand how Ben (and why wasn’t he named Bail?) could be such a… whiny wannabe loser. I don’t get his reasons for falling into the dark side, aside from his hair trigger temper which Vader got under control when he became Sith, Ben was kind of a fail.
Anakin’s fall was tragic, his helmet was a symbolism of his being trapped by it and he’s just so… right now I don’t see anything about him I find interesting when he had no reason to fall other than teen angst.
Ezra has more of a reason to be tempted to the dark side.
Also, who the frak is the Supreme Leader? I thought there were only two Sith Lords at a time? I mean sure there were Inquisitors but never to the level of Palaptine and Vader.
Luke, you better have a damned good reason why you’re repeating the mistakes of Yoda.

There are actually people who are defending Kylo Ren. It’s a thing, and they’re complaining that people just hate him because he’s evil, which duh. Second:

That’s not even why I hate him, unlike Anakin he has NO reason to fall to the dark side, nothing at all. He didn’t have nine years of slavery, his parents weren’t killed, in fact the movie went out of its way to show how much Leia and Han loved him.
He didn’t have an institution so rigid it pushed him to the brink.
He has absolutely no reason to fall to the dark side other than worship all the wrong things Anakin did.
