Catching this before January ends!
In Star Wars Rebels it was revealed that Hera Syndulla’s handler/rebel contact Fulcrum was actually Ahsoka Tano, 15 years after the events of The Clone Wars.
After thinking about it I think it's fitting that Ahsoka Tano’s code name within the Rebel Alliance is Fulcrum, especially since the definition of Fulcrum is:
The moment Ahsoka Tano appeared in The Clone Wars feature was the moment the Extended Universe turned into Legends. Before TCW, we didn’t know Anakin Skywalker had an apprentice.
Frequently during the events of The Clone Wars Ahsoka played an essential role in events that turned the tide for better or for worse.
(IMO, simply having a Jedi around does this already but it magnifies when Anakin, Obi-Wan, or Ahsoka is around.)
There are times when Ahsoka’s mere presence changed things.
One of those was Anakin Skywalker.
Anakin was promoted to Knight a lot younger than he should have been, regardless of how he felt about becoming a Knight, Anakin wasn’t ready to be a Jedi Knight and all that required. He was still too brash and stubborn, and he still had a lot of issues about letting go-- he can’t.
And so, Yoda assigned Anakin a Padawan of his own, Ahsoka Tano.
Ahsoka Tano was also brash, obstinate, and stubborn but she also had a great capacity to learn.
Through teaching Ahsoka, Anakin also learned and grew up. Yoda’s gamble paid off.
(Until the events of The Wrong Jedi arc dismantled all of the progress Anakin made and made him even more susceptible to Palpatine’s machinations.)
Other smaller events like the time she inspired a couple of Mandalorian Academy students to stage their own coup against the sitting Mandalorian Prime Minister, to teaching and guiding Onderon rebels to overthrow a Separatist sympathetic monarchy.
Or the time she inspired a group of younglings to fight against a group of hunters that’s been hunting younglings for game.
You know small things like that.
She’s in Rebels now and even though she’s not around that often when she does tend to give the Ghost crew an edge whether by support or helping them in a more direct manner such as when Ahsoka intervened and helped Kanan and Ezra against the Inquisitors.
We don’t know what her fate (and the fate of the Ghost crew) will be but whatever it is I’m betting what she does helps in some way to change the tide-- for better or worse.

*TBH I am hoping its for the better and that somehow Ahsoka survives her encounters with Vader, and that Vader would freeze Ahsoka in carbonite thereby keeping Ahsoka with him without Ahsoka dying or running away.
Knowing his issues, this could be a plausible thing!
And then she gets de-thawed during or after the events of TFA to find out everyone she knew and loved is dead ala Steve Rogers! Now wouldn’t that be fun? Think of all the angst! But delightful angst because Ahsoka is alive!

OH MY GOD THIS IS BRILLIANT. I want this SO BAD now. If you're not doing it, maybe I will try my hand at it. Just. Poor Ahsoka.

Yes, please do write it!!! I only have like vague snippet ideas where Ahsoka is all sad when she realizes she's woken up and everyone is dead. (But she's alive!). And she starts bonding with Leia! And then Rey!
Talk about getting left behind, that's the ultimate 'left behind' story, she and Rey can bond over this!
