I wrote the following on my ML and thought I'd share:
Hayao Miyazaki, the genius who brought us Princess Mononoke, Spirted Away, Nausicaa brings to the big screen Diana Wynne Jones's beloved book, Howl's Moving Castle.
It's the story of Sophie Hatter, who'd always believed the old adage, first born among tree fares the illest luck when journeying on a quest. Resigned to spend her life as a clerk in a hat shop, Sophie finds her life turned upside down when the powerful Witch of the Waste turns her into a very old woman.
Sophie flees from the town and finds herself in the moving castle, where the Wizard Howl was said to live, a wizard who was reputed to eat the souls of young girls!
To learn more of the movie check out: http://www.nausicaa.net/miyazaki/howl/
So, plug over, I resume to my regular lurker-ness:)

selenak: Joss might direct X-Men 3!
Snark and storyline, oh, yeah!
Someday when the wallet allows I'll buy Astonishing X-Men.
Funny thing is, David Boreanaz is auditioning for Superman, the movie Singer left X men for!
