After fiddling and fiddling and fiddling I finally got the layout right, once again much thanks to
starlingsby100 for the layout script and the background image.
If you think my obsession for Veronica Mars has waned, you are very much mistaken my friend. Very, very much. In fact, I've recently found Veronica Mars music blog, informative site on the music used in VM and the VM soundtrack. One thing I really love about VM is its use of music, they don't use the popular, much played music but they use a mix of everything. I think because of my fandoms (Supernatural, Buffy and Veronica Mars) I'm discovering a lot of music I wouldn't normally be exposed to.
chrisleeoctaves asked about fictional relationships we're drawn to, these are mine:
It's a mixed bag. I like couples who can be comfortable together and on occasion act without angst. I like couples who mistrust each other and couples who work at trusting each other.
It depends on how a couple makes it work, but recently I've just had this dislike for 'soulmates' and find myself liking people who love each other for being who they are.
Buffy/Angel - My first ever 'ship. Although, now, I can accept they can be with other people. They're both growing and learning independent of each other.
Jack/Irina (Alias)- This couple are just incendiary, and yes, they also do the intense look well. They've got issues a crater wide but what sells this relationship for me is how Irina's betrayal had really broken Jack but he will never be over her. I love that Irina does truly love Jack and Sydney but it doesn't stop her from pursuing her own agenda and sometimes that agenda forces her to go against them. I love that she's so complete without Jack but also she could love him so well.
Sydney/Weiss (Alias) - I know they were never a couple but I love the possibility of them together, I love that Weiss can offer this uncomplicated, angst free relationship for her and still be a professional. I love that Weiss finally had Nadia to care for and that he was the best boyfriend ever.

Veronica/Logan (Veronica Mars) - I love their complicated relationship. They used to be part of the Fearsome Foursome until Lilly (Logan's girlfriend) died and sent all their lives spiraling. Veronica transforms into a hard, cynical, driven and yet compassion person out to find the truth behind her bestfriends murder and Logan spirals into an uncontrollable jackass. They turn against each other until another death pulls them together to a friendship and to a kiss that shocks them both to silence. And that's what I love about them. The complication, the issues, I love that these two can do so much damage to each other and yet they can still ask for each other's help. I love that they can both startle each other enough to silence their acerbic wits. And, I'll stop there before this turns into a full post.
Keith Mars/Alicia Fennell (Veronica Mars) - Because its an adult relationship and you can really see how they both make each other happy.
John Crichton/Aeryn Sun (Farscape) - Because they are partners in the truest sense of the word. They push each other to be better than they are, they fight and bicker and grow-up. Plus, they both look great in black space leather and they're the most dangerous badass you've ever faced.
Ninth Doctor/Rose Tyler (Doctor Who) - As much as I love the Tenth Doctor, Nine will always be my Doctor. I love his intensity and angst, I love his sudden shifts of temper and manic glee, I love his danger and his need to travel and see all the wonders of the universe and I love that he loves showing it all to Rose. I love his need and selfishness for Rose Tyler and I love that Rose can call him on his mistakes and that she can give as good as she gets. I love that Rose discovers she's more than a 19 year old shopgirl from London.
Preston Burke/Cristina Yang (Grey's Anatomy) - Cristina's a driven A-Type intern and really no time for social graces, Preston is one of the best surgeons in the country. They work because they work at their relationship, they make compromises. They work because Preston Burke is patient and adult and honest and because Cristina is willing to learn the steps of the relationship with him even if it scares her.
Cameron Mitchell/Samantha Carter (SG-1) - This is my Alternative True Pairing, they may never be one in the show, although they almost became a couple and in the 200th episode teen!Cam and teen!Sam were a couple. I love it because how they are with each other. Easy going and fun. Sam doesn't have the urge to call Mitchell 'Sir' like she does with Jack, and because if she does call him 'sir', she'll probably sprain something laughing. I love that Sam thinks Mitchell is such a fanboy dork. :D
House/Cuddy (House) - Because of the snark and sexiness. If everyone disappeared and it became the House and Cuddy show I won't even mind!
