Five Years Gone
OMG This is just -- I'm so glad I was unspoiled for the reveal I didn't even sense (well, I did, sort of) that something was wrong with Nathan until blood started to drip from Claire's forehead!
And damn Peter's hot. He's so much better than when he first started! Him being all scarred and bitter suits him very much and I'd never thought Peter and Niki would get together but they work being all intense like that. I do wish they did something more about Niki, it's a missed opportunity they could have shown how badass Niki could be.
Hiro! Future!Hiro! Hiro's actor said he was modeling his actor from some Dragon Ball character and I was puzzling who it was until Ando said: Mirai!Hiro and it hit me like a bolt of lightning, future!Hiro is Mirai!Trunks! Oh-Em-Gee! From the sword to the coat, to the attitude! This is one ball of awesomeness!
And dude, Matt -- who'd think he'd turn into Bennett, huh? He's obviously learned some tricks over the years, although him not believing that Hiro could time travel is just, well, silly considering what he can do.
Poor Claire, she can never catch a break can she? But brunette suits her better than blond.
But Sylar! Oh my God, Sylar! Best Villain Ever (next to Angelus) he's just... aaaah! And when he learned Peter was alive he just couldn't help himself, could he? Flew right in the middle of a press conference! This is so their wishverse.
So, it seems like Hiro is the hero of this season, doesn't it?
This show is amazing plot wise, I love that they stuck to their guns and killed Isaac, it makes the whole New York bomb thing inevitable and raises the stakes more that even if Hiro does time travel he can't change everything because he's not meant to.
Mr. Bennett (sp?) was amazing! He literally out thought the paper company then Matt laughs at him for being middle management. And yes, Matt, Bennett and Ted are the best travel buddies ever!
Peter and Sylar's show down was amazing, it's just fraught with tension. I like how they play the fight scenes here brief enough to show us potential and wanting for more.
Again, the Petrelli family are all kinds of awesome and screwed up. I do love that Mama Petrelli (and she's Ted's mom from How I Met Your Mother!) is one of the first generations of meta-humans.
Funniest line has to be what Bennett's replacement said something about shutting Matt up so he could stop talking about his pregnant wife. Bwah! This show really does listen to its fans!
