Apparently my post was too big so this might be broken up in to three parts rather than the two parts I thought it would be. I may have gone over board with the capping...

Did I also mention how much I love the music in the show? One thing I really wished this show had was longer credits. So it was a bonus when I saw this fan created credits using the music used in this scene.

It's part of my personal canon now that this was Life's credits until it was cruelly cut by the Powers that Be. Yep. Nothing anyone can say can change that... unless Rand Ravich design his own credits.

Okay, you know. I loved Reese in the pilot already she had such wonderful expressions and then earlier in the scene when Charlie broached the subject about Reese being a little girl and Reese denying it, I fell a little. But this scene.

I couldn't stop laughing when she took the stun baton and shocked both Crews and the groom. I remember my mouth falling open in surprise that she actually did that! Plus, I love the other cops' reaction to her, now whenever she says jump, they will literally jump. Even Bobby seemed afraid of her, in fact after this moment he seemed more wary of Dani. I think he started being smart with her again after Powerless, which would actually fit his character.

I bet whenever Crews becomes really, really annoying she remembers this moment with fondness. Dani Reese: tasering her partner with 900,000 volts of electricity since 2007.

How much do I love Reese hovering worriedly over Charlie? Very, very much! I also love how certain Reese was that Charlie would wake-up just because she ordered him to. She also has this half smile the moment he's up, relieved and amused and really not at all apologetic she used a stun baton on him.

And because this is my picspam and think Charlie all wet is hot and Reese all detective-y and badass in her leather jacket is hot, I repeat this picture again.

I love that the detectives are involved in the forensics, I'm not an expert on police procedures and as much as I like seeing the shiny in CSI I didn't like the way the detectives were pushed in the background while the CSIs were put in the forefront. I love that both Reese and Charlie are interacting with their forensics team and you can see they're actually thinking about the hows and whys.

Charlie Crews in casual clothes, very hot. I really don't blame Tiffy for swooning. I would to. Especially if he caught me that way. And, hey! Deputy Leo!

Love this shot. Reese is in the background but she's also there in that moment, studying all the reactions. I noticed Reese and Charlie have a similar method, they're both watchful, they don't immediately react. They observe the reactions of the people they're interviewing, trying to see which emotions are genuine and which are pasted on. Also, I just really love this shot.

Straight to the interrogation. In the beginning of the scene Reese has a sort of flat effect and this time it's Charlie who's in the background, guaging reactions and when Reese raises her voice it's not because she's angry it's because she's trying to get a reaction from Jake (the groom). I've also noticed that Reese and Crews moving in synch didn't start out in Serious Control Issues, even in the second episode they're starting out already. I didn't capture it here but when Reese asked Jake what happened when he returned to the suite there's this moment when Jake hesitates and at that moment Charlie detaches from the wall and moves forward at the same time Reese leans forward. That's just awesome considering the continuity.

In fact, the more I think about it, the more I realize there's a lot of similarities between Tear Asunder and Serious Control Issues both episodes had Charlie identifying with their suspects, Davis putting pressure on Dani in regards to Charlie and both episodes had a fruit scene.

I just love that Dani instantly notices Charlie taking out the fruit but takes a few seconds to compose herself and even looks at a few pictures in an attempt to re-focus back to the case but eventually gives up and reluctantly says: 'That's an interesting fruit.'

Charlie: I thought there'd be more.
Reese: More to what?
Charlie: In the pool. With Jake? You know when you put those volts in the water? I was almost dead.
Reese: Yeah, I remember that.
Charlie: It was a near death experience!
Reese: And it not being a full death experience should make you happy.
Charlie: Nothing happened! There were no lights, no tunnel,no dead relatives. Or maybe I wasn't near death enough for it to be a near death experience.

I love Reese's expression growing more and more perplexed as Charlie went on how disappointed he was he didn't see anything in his near death experience and it always cracked me up that up to this point she's still not apologetic she contributed to Charlie's not-so-near death experience. She's definitely still amused by it.
