ETA: I've been reading a lot of articles about Sarah Shahi and one of the things that irk me are the comments from fans who want Sarah Shahi to remain typcasted as eye candy, a role she's been trying very hard to leave behind.
That just really, argh. Yes, she's sexy and hot and all the things but I think Sarah Shahi as Dani Reese, without any make-up with her messy hair is far, far more beautiful than Carmen. And, to be quite honest, from what I've seen of Carmen -- not really the character type I'll fall in love with and her drama with Shane is just about the kind of thing that drives me nuts.
Dani Reese as she is, extremely competent, damaged who's still on the long rocky road to recovery? With a moral code she stands by? Very awesome. Plus, Reese in kevlar? Hot and awesome.
