Found this article on Buffy... thru <a href="http://www.slayage.com target=_"blank"> slayage</a>, <a href="http://www.bayarea.com/mld/cctimes/entertainment/5195119.htm" target=_"blank">'Does Buffymania still slay you?'</a> I gotta say, I still am a fan of the show, no matter how many times I vow to quit I just keep coming back *sigh*. I love that show, ain't denying it, love, love, love it. And, I'm a season behind everyone, with me being in and Asian country and all.
Also, did I mention how much a B/A ship I am? I mean I'm not rabid... okay, sometimes rabid fan but I'm not rabid enough to deny the burning chemistry of Spuffyness. Plus, I heart JM;p
So, see my love for <a href="http://www.livejournal.com/talkread.bml?journal=valancy&itemid=64618#cutid1" target=_"blank"> Valancy's</a> article on why I can't, no matter the time
not see Buffy and Angel end-up together.
Plus, here's a <a href="http://entertainment.msn.com/news/article.aspx?news=114541" target=_"blank"> List of Best Kisses, Worst Couples in Television</a>
Spike and Buffy rank number two for the flamey chemistry, and Buffy and Angel rank much lower to number eight. Because, <i>"Later when he</i> [Angel] <i>realizes he must revert to being a vampire with a soul and erase all memories of their day together, Buffy plaintively promises, "I will never forget ... I will never forget ... I will never forget." But, of course, she does. Heartbreaking and touching, viewers were reminded of why Buffy and Angel are television's best star-crossed duo."</i>
*sigh*
Oh! Almost forgot, check this out, samples for the <a href="http://www.ericwight.com/portfolio/buffy001.html" target=_"blank">Buffy Animation</a>, if it would ever pull through that is...
On other matters, I do hope the impending war Bush is pushing won't happen. It's really scary, war is scary. And, no disrespecting GMA but I think that she shouldn't be pushing for war, not when North Korea is about a stone's throw away from the Philippines...
North Korea and Iraq might be more than a hundred thousand miles apart but I have this scary suspicion that when and if the US does push through with the war nothing will stop North Korea from releasing their missiles...

The Good-Morrow by John Donne
I wonder by my troth, what thou and I
Did, till we lov'd? Were we not wean'd till then,
But suck'd on country pleasures, childishly?
Or snorted we in the seven sleepers' den?
'Twas so; but this, all pleasures fancies be.
If ever any beauty I did see,
Which I desir'd, and got, 'twas but a dream of thee.
And now good morrow to our waking souls,
Which watch not one another out of fear;
For love, all love of other sights controls,
And makes one little room, an everywhere.
Let sea-discoverers to new worlds have gone,
Let maps to other, worlds on worlds have shown,
Let us possess one world, each hath one, and is one.
My face in thine eye, thine in mine appears,
And true plain hearts do in the faces rest;
Where can we find two better hemispheres,
Without sharp north, without declining west?
Whatever dies, was not mix'd equally;
If our two loves be one, or, thou and I
Love so alike, that none do slacken, none can die.

We met at the end of the party by Philip Larkin
We met at the end of the party
When all the drinks were dead
And all the glasses dirty:
'Have this that's left', you said.
We walked through the last of summer,
When shadows reached long and blue
Across days that were growing shorter:
You said: 'There's autumn too'.
Always for you what's finished
Is nothing, and what survives
Cancels the failed, the famished,
As if we had fresh lives
From that night on, and just living
Could make me unaware
Of June, and the guests arriving,
And I not there.
