I wish I could watch this play, from the snippets and previews it looks amazing.
Also, I love listening and watching Jodie breakdown and analyze the play and the characters. I’ve been listening to her podcast interviews, the good ones which aren’t just limited to Doctor Who questions. She has so many insightful things to say with lots of funny anecdotes peppered in.
I couldn't help myself and I made a gifset with a snippet from Jodie's part from the video above.

I am just endlessly fascinated with Jodie Whittaker’s physicality and body language. She mentioned in the Two Shot Podcast that she’s not method, but that she tends to keep the energy of the character she’s playing.
So, it’s fascinating to see this Jodie who is… not subdued but more serious and restrained(?) than the Jodie Whittaker we’ve been seeing in the Doctor Who press tours and in behind the scenes.
It’s why I was so frustrated with all the EXTREME CLOSE-UPS because I felt the camera was missing the other 60% of the story I felt the camera was missing the other 60% of the story especially in The Ghost Monument and Rosa. I am thankful for Mark Tonderai for the vistas in The Ghost Monument and the fantastic Rosa episode but when Arachnids in the UK premiered it was like a breath of fresh air, because I can actually see the body language, physicality of the actors during crucial moments.
